Americans spend an average of 2 1/2 hours in their cars every day. According to Yankelovich Monitor Study 2000. Why not think about a driving safely resolution? Distractions are the number 1 causes of accidents while driving! Lets resolve to limit some of these distractions. Most of us know what we are doing is risky and dangerous, there are plenty of times where many of us have been close to having an accident and had timing been off by seconds our lives may have been changed forever! Lets make these changes before this happens and show our children how to be responsible drivers. So in the spirit of New Year's, lets resolve to: Put our cell phones away when before we take our vehicle out of park! Call home let them know you are on your way and put it away and silence it!(so you won't be tempted) Drive safe speeds! We all run late to work, dance, school, etc., but does that minute really make a difference? Driving at safe speeds could make the difference between an accident and the ability to stop when needed. Click it or Ticket... Not only is not wearing a seatbelt against the law in many states, it can save your life. Our lives have become so busy that getting the car in drive before our seatbelts seems more important than protecting ourselves! Buckle Up! These are just a few, we all know our own unsafe driving habits. Sit down think about everything you do that is unsafe and resolve to change! Comment below what you resolve to change, so we can all do this together!! Good LUCK!
