Innovation in Exterior: Lexus RC Coupe

We are all ready to see the Lexus RC in 2014, but are you ready for the fiery new red exterior? Lexus is employing an entirely new paint process that is redefining the famous shine that every Lexus possesses. The new dynamic red exterior will be enhanced by using a bi-color base of both silver and red. The meticulous process is further augmented by applying the base coat four times and baking it twice. For the red-colored exterior, the process starts with a base-coat of silver, then a clear-coat. The clear coat is then followed with a translucent red-coat, then topped again with another clear coat. The four different coats are baked twice in order to achieve the perfect color.

This process complements the sheen of the vehicle beautifully. When light hits the exterior, it reflects not only off of the red-coat, but the silver beneath it, adding a shine that is unparalleled. The new Lexus RC Coupe in this ravishing red will be introduced in 2014, so keep an eye out for the gleaming masterpiece and make it your own!

2015 Lexus LS 460

The Lexus LS 460 is expected to have some small yet incredibly innovative and exciting changes for the year 2015. Adjustments being made to the sedan include predictive traffic capabilities, ETA calculation and low-fuel coordinations with nearby gas-stations. In addition, the new model will be compatible with the Lexus Enform remote, which has the ability to control certain vehicle features by using a smartphone app. Some of the supported features from the remote are remote door lock/unlock, remote stop/start for the engine and climate control, vehicle-finder and guest-driver monitoring. LED dome lamps will adorn its front and dynamic grid-lines will be added to the back-up camera to help the driver more easily monitor backing up in hard-to-see areas. While some of the additions may seem small, they will make the task of driving into an even more seamless and worry-free process than before. Lexus is all about the relentless pursuit of perfection, and the 2015 Lexus LS 460 is another stepping stone on the way.

Breast Cancer Detection Tips

1.7 million new cases of breast cancer are identified in worldwide each year. Statistically, 1 in 8 women will develop invasive breast cancer during their lifetime and breast cancer is known to be the 2nd leading cause of death in women, exceeded only by lung cancer. Knowing how to properly detect breast cancer early is one of the most detrimental steps in identifying whether or not you may be at risk. Here are some steps to take when determining whether or not you may be a carrier:

Screening exams: Screenings such as mammograms can be an impactful way of detecting breast cancer in its early stages, when it is most easily cured. Women ages 40 and older should have yearly screenings and should continue to do so as long as they are in good health.

Breast Self Exam (BSE): Self-exams can also play a role in determining whether or not you may have breast cancer. This is typically recommended for women age 20-30. Women who choose to do BSE should have their BSE technique reviewed during their physical exam by a health professional.

MRI: In some cases, with women who have higher risks of breast cancer, an MRI in addition to a mammogram may be necessary to detect breast cancer. This includes women with a family history of breast cancer or who have had radiation therapy to the chest when they were between the ages of 10 and 30.

It is most important to consult your healthcare professional regarding what detection methods may be best for you. There is one thing that can be universally expressed among physicians everywhere: don’t wait. If you have not employed any of these methods in your past, see your doctor to plan a regimen that works for you!
