Valentines Fun in KC

What: The Brookside location serves a four-course dinner on Valentine’s Day and the day before.

What: The newly renovated hotel has three packages that begin Feb. 10 and run through Valentine’s Day and cost $199, $259 and $299.

Bluestem

When: Dinner: 6, 7:30 and 9 p.m., Feb. 14. Tea: 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., Feb. 11.
Where: 900 Westport Road
What: The Westport-area restaurant offers a three-course Valentine’s Day dinner with three seatings (see above). Price is $65 per person. There will also be a Valentine’s tea on Feb. 11 with two seatings. Cost is $25 per person ($7 for children younger than 10), which includes teas, sandwiches and pastries. Reservations are required for both events.

City Market

When: Noon to 3 p.m., Feb. 14
Where: First pavilion in the City Market
What: The Rev. John Navarre serves as the official for a three-hour “Tie the Knot” event in which couples who are Missouri residents can be married or renew their vows for free on Valentine’s Day. Space is limited, but ceremonies will be held every 15 minutes, with flowers provided by Dutch Flowers and wedding cupcakes from Bloom Baking Co. Reservations required.

What: The Corbin Theatre Company performs “Last of the Red Hot Lovers,” a romantic play by Neil Simon. Tickets are $10.
