Racing to Save Lives!
Hendrick Automotive Group and the Be The Match Foundation have teamed up once again to bring hope to those afflicted with leukemia and other life-threatening diseases with the “Racing to Save Lives” 5k and 1k half marathon. The event takes place Sunday, September 26th at 8:00 am at the Charlotte Motor Speedway in Charlotte, NC. Participants will be able to take part in a 1k or 5k race, as well as the Kids’ Dash for budding philanthropists.

Those not in the Charlotte area can still make a difference, by making a secure online donation. Your donation will support the National Bone Marrow registry, helping to attract and assist prospective donors, subsidizing costs for patients and fueling research and development into these devastating diseases.

In other news, the 2010 Learn Live Hope event raised more than $770,000 for patients working with the Hendrick Marrow Program and Levine Children's Hospital.
